The project ‘Heritage Houses for Europe. Exchange & Innovate’ has been successfully launched in July. Since then expert interviews and the first workshop gathering key stakeholders have been organised.
Running until 2019, it will contribute to build the legacy of the 2018 European Year of Cultural Heritage.
The project will build bridges with family-owned heritage houses by:
– Measure the positive impact of family-owned heritage houses in Europe and raise-awareness on the sector of family-owned heritage houses
– Analyse innovative replicable business models and create tools supporting managers for the sustainable preservation of family-owned heritage houses
– Issue recommendations towards the EU institutions unleashing the sectors’ potential.
The consortium gathering the European Landowners Organization, the European Historic Houses
Association, and IDEA Consult has an exclusive access to networks of heritage houses owners.
