Originally built in the 17th century, Huntington Castle was passed on to many owners either by marriage or inheritance. It has also been transformed various times, but left almost in ruins until Mr. David Durdin-Robertson acquired the property, including the Castle and the buildings surrounding it. He made Huntington’s restoration his life’s work.

His thorough efforts saved both the castle and the estate, and enabled him to hand everything over to his son Alexander in first-rate condition. He was also a founding member of the European Historic Houses Association and one of our directors until his death in 2009.
